Make An Impact in November

We don't need to tell you that this year's elections are crucial to peace and security issues. Furthermore, we’ve seen how just a handful of votes can determine an election. This year, we want to make sure that people who support arms control and smart national security policies are voting!

The Center is looking for volunteers for a national Voter Education and Get Out The Vote campaign. Every volunteer will receive training, a list of names with phone numbers of people that either are not registered, or are registered but need a reminder to vote.

Fill out the contact information form below to volunteer for this important campaign.

You’ll be part of a nationwide group of people who will be volunteering from 8 non partisan organizations (we’re calling it the Peace Impact Project) who are doing the same thing.

We need concerned voters to support candidates who will increase our national security by bringing U.S. troops home from Iraq, engaging in diplomacy – not war – with Iran, optimizing our national security spending, and working toward a world free of nuclear weapons.

The only way for these goals to become reality is to make sure that people who care about them are making their voices heard and voting for candidates who support them!

Specifically, we will need leaders and extra volunteers from the following 7 states:Colorado, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and New Mexico. If you live in one of these 7 states, we need your support and leadership!

After you fill out the volunteer form, you’ll be receiving information about the next steps in the process – but the first one is the most important, so sign up and help ensure that candidates who support arms control and sensible national security policies will win in November.
